About 9 years ago, the Lord woke me up at 4am everyday, for a period of 2 weeks. Each morning I would walk quietly downstairs with my pen and paper – He would speak and I would write.
I am now seeing what He told me come into being.
I saw a huge fence with people standing on top of it. Right at the end there was an angel with a sickle. This huge, beautiful angel walked along the fence and began to gently push people off the fence. Some people would jump down to the left, some to the right.
As I was watching this play out before me I asked the Lord what He was showing me.
He told me that the angel could see what was in each person’s heart and he would gently push each person to one side of the fence or the other according to what he saw.
The ones that jumped down to the left of the angel were the ones that were just ‘playing church’ and didn’t have a relationship with Jesus. They were attending because that’s what they did on a Sunday or simply for the social aspect. Their heart’s were not towards the Lord.
However, the ones that were on the right were passionately in love in Jesus. They were encountering His great love, longing for and walking in His great power. They were changing their worlds because of their relationship with the Lord.
This was somewhat perplexing to me and I have hung onto that vision … until this time.
On Fire for Jesus!
In January this year (2021), the Lord began to explain to me what this vision was all about and how it has begun to play out.
The gap between those who are just playing church and don’t really get this whole ‘God thing’, and those who are truly on fire for Jesus and have given Him their lives is growing larger — and this shouldn’t be so.
Does this mean that the ones who aren’t sure and are somewhat complacent cannot go to the other side of the fence? Absolutely not!
Anything is possible with God! He already made a way for them to do so through Jesus Christ.
No-one will ever be hindered from moving into a great relationship with Father God. It is a choice that they will need to make and now is the time for this.
The Year of Excellence – Not Perfection
I hear the Lord saying that He is looking for those who are living in excellence and not perfection.
Perfectionism is actually pride and He longs for yielded, soft hearts that can be directed by His loving hand at a moment’s notice.
Excellence is doing the best that you know how to do. It’s looking to do things better than you have before. It’s learning the skills that you need to do a task to the best of your ability.
This is all that Jesus asks for.
2021 is the year of getting rid of all the things that hinder you from walking side by side with the Lord.
What distractions keep you from hearing His voice and intentionally being in His presence in 1 on 1 time?
What is keeping you from doing what He has asked you to do?
How He deeply desires to love on you and to share treasures from His heart to yours.
His heart is on fire for you and He wants to heal every wounded area in your life. You just need to ask.
Father God created you because He wants to be with you.
He passionately adores you. No-one could love you more.
He is coming in power. Are you ready?
Those who know Father God’s heart and His Word will recognise Him when He comes.
Those who don’t will experience confusion.
Do you long to see your world change?
Now is the time.
Now is the time to rise!
Set your heart towards Heaven. Spend time allowing Father God to love on you today. This is how you change your world because you can’t give out of what you don’t have.
The bar has been raised. Rise to the call of excellence.
He has called YOU for greater things.
He is calling out to you now.
Don’t dismiss Him and say, “Later”. You’ll want to be on the right side of the fence.
NOW IS THE TIME!
