A New Move Of God Is Coming!

I have begun this post numerous times on different subjects and none of them have seemed timely. My desire is always to bring to you what is on the Father’s heart for this point in time.

So ……. here it goes.

There is a new move of God coming. What will this move look like? Each time the Lord speaks to me about it, He tells of a great and intense love that will be poured out upon the world that will increase the love of His people for Himself and His Kingdom. There will be a tremendous increase and desire for the Word of God, for His Presence, His goodness, and to see the Kingdom of God coming to and manifesting in the earth. The spiritual gifts will increase and be poured out exponentially as the Church yields and surrenders in full submission to Him.

It’s time to get ready.

This is the time to get your heart ready to receive from the Father.

How do you do this?

1.  Spend time reading the Word of God.

Read chunks of it. Find out what the Word says in context to its surrounding passages. Find out what God’s heart is for you – how greatly He loves you. Read about the ways in which God moved in miraculous ways in the Bible. You don’t have to look too far, just look at Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is our perfect example. There are many other examples right throughout. Remember, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He wants to do miracles in your life too.

Meditate on Scripture – roll it around your mind. Speak it out. There is great power in speaking the Word of God (Romans 4:17).

2.  Spend time in worshipping God.

Find your favourite worship music that sings about God’s greatness and His abounding love for you and His creation. Read the Psalms. Take time out to intentionally put all your focus and attention onto God. He is so worthy of your praise. Nothing else anywhere compares with Him.

3.  Spend time listening to God’s voice.

Just as Jesus took time out to be alone to hear the Father’s voice, so must you. He so LONGS to speak with you. It is not just for Bible times – again, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He wants to speak with you ……. TODAY!

4.  Spend time with God-fearing, like-minded people.

This is just as critical as the previous points. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:23-25 (AMP),

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.

The reason why we are not to forsake meeting together is because this is where we find our encouragement. Now, I am not condemning anyone who is not presently meeting in a corporate setting, ie. a church. What I am saying is that I encourage you to find like-minded people who love God, who are encouraging, who worship the Lord, who study the Word and hear His voice. Believers are to meet together to “encourage one another”, not to judge, not to complain, not to criticise and definitely not to gossip. Encourage, build up, pray for one another. This is what the Church, God’s people, need to do to get ready.

Satan loves nothing but to get you in isolation, planting thoughts (seeds) that you are the ‘only one’ who is going through stuff, feel this way, or think that way. It is absolutely vital that you practice not living by your feelings, but by the Truth – that is the Word of God. When you stay in fellowship with honest, encouraging, like-minded people, you are less likely to succumb to the enemy’s lies.

5.  Submit ……. FULLY!

God wants to use YOU! YES HE DOES! The more you allow God to move in your life, change you, refine you, the more He is able to use you for His purposes. Is He able to use you as you are, right now? You bet but think about how much bigger your sphere of influence can become and how much more effective you can be as you become more like Jesus. The possibilities for God showing up in your life are endless. How incredibly exciting!!

6.  Practise first time obedience.

This is paramount. Jesus was obedient, even unto death on a cross (Philippians 2:8). We need that level of commitment to being obedient to the voice and commandments of the Lord as expressed in His Word.

We are living in a very exciting time. Each time God speaks to me or gives me a dream about the coming move, He always confirms it through a God-fearing speaker, the Word, a prophecy or a circumstance. The ‘world’ wants to give you all the bad news through the media – whether it be social media, tv or radio. I can assure you ……. GOD IS WAY BIGGER and His news is FANTASTIC!

Don’t get left behind. Now is the time to prepare in an even deeper way.

The move is coming. God is going to show the magnificence, strength, and love of His nature in a way that has never been experienced before now, in the history of creation.

This is definitely the most exciting time to be alive. Position yourself to be right in the midst of God’s way. He loves you so desperately and with such great passion, He is really going to rock your world.

Position yourself to receive His love for you today. It’s His love that changes things. It’s His love that changes you!

Prayer

“Father God, I long to be a part of this coming move of Your goodness and power. I choose to surrender my entire life to you, this very moment. Use me in any way that you see fit. I give you my talents, my gifts, even my shortcomings and failures so that I can become even more effective for You and the furthering of Your Kingdom. Help me to receive Your love and all its fullness today and throughout the coming days. Please surround me with people who will encourage me and help me grow in the things of the Kingdom. Give me a burning desire for Your Word, Your Presence, and Your voice that I may get to know You intimately. Use me Lord. My life is Yours. Amen.”

May you know the power and greatness of His amazing and never-ending love and kindness towards you today and always.
