God’s Plans For You Are ALWAYS Good!

christian life Oct 30, 2018

Hi there. Did you know that God’s plans for you are always good?

ALWAYS!

Are there things happening in your life that you wonder if this is true?

Maybe you have a sickness, an injury, a painful situation, or maybe you are overly anxious about what is going on in the world today. It seemingly won’t let up and you have done everything that you feel God is telling you to do. You’ve tried prayer, you’ve tried worship, medicine, fasting, counselling ….. when will this nightmare end!

Why, Why, WHY!

Life happens and it’s in these moments that I can choose to blame God or, I can choose to sit with Him, ask Him questions and then intentionally listen to His answers.

At times I have yelled at God, “I don’t understand. How does this work?!” Don’t be offended. God loves it when you are honest with Him. He knows your heart anyway so you may as well tell Him the truth. He has very broad shoulders.

I HATE Satan and everything in his kingdom. He is the one who has brought pain and agony into the world. He is the one who has brought in poverty, sickness and lack. I have made it my life’s mission to find answers to defeat his works and bring Heaven to earth – and that includes healing, provision, love, life and hope!

Not so long ago, God called me to sit alone with Him. My family were occupied so I went to my bedroom and sat on the floor. So many feelings and thoughts were racing around inside of me. The Lord interrupted my thoughts with a soft but strong voice, “Look up Jeremiah 29:11 in the Amplified Bible.” I really didn’t want to as I knew that verse by heart and I had heard people preach it so many times. Frankly I was tired of hearing it in the same old way.

It says, “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'”

I had not seen it before. ALL God’s thoughts and plans for us are good! There are NO plans for evil – that includes sickness, injury, pain or lack.

I was on YouTube and a trailer came up for a new movie that featured Sandra Bullock. She is one of my favourite actresses so I checked it out. The movie is ‘Bird Box’ and it is about an entity that causes people’s greatest fears to come true. (Spoiler – if you like being scared, you’ll like this movie.) Sandra’s character has to stay blindfolded because if she sees the entity, it then transforms into her greatest fear and she will die.

Interesting that this is somewhat how it works in the spirit realm. The demonic realm’s greatest tactic is fear. (Is this sounding familiar in 2020?)

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) that “God has not given us a SPIRIT OF FEAR, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Fear is the basis of everything evil.
FEAR IS AN ENTITY!

Have you ever thought about that? I have been in many counselling offices in my lifetime and I was always told that fear is a feeling that I must overcome. It is a feeling too but first it comes to you as a demon.

How does the spirit of fear work?

Well, because it cannot be everywhere at once, and it cannot stay anywhere that it doesn’t have legal ground to settle on, it has to lie to you and get you to agree with it before it can have access to your life.

Fear is an entity that will tell you:

“God doesn’t want you healed that’s why you still hurt.”
“God is trying to teach you a lesson.”
“You will always be this way. It’s just how it is.”
“You deserve this situation.”
“Your grandmother had this disease, so will you.”
“You need to hoard food because God will not provide for you”
“You need to look after yourself because no-one else will!”

Man, I HATE the demonic realm with an intense passion! How about you?

So, how do you combat fear?

In Scripture I can find 2 ways to overcome fear. I am still on the journey but I certainly live in more freedom than I ever have before.

The 2 Scriptures are:

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.(John 8:32 DRA)

and

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,”   (1 John 4:18 NASB)

What are you being set free from? The lies that the enemy tells you. When you agree with one of his lies, something that resembles a fish hook goes into your soul. Does it sometimes feel like you are being pulled one way or another? It’s because you are. When you come into agreement with the liar, he can push and pull you all he likes.

But … there is GOOD NEWS!

Let me gently say that the negative thoughts that randomly pop into your mind – ARE NOT YOURS!

Once I received this revelation, it was a whole lot easier to fight back. Fear, intimidation and torment are the only tools the demonic kingdom have. I have listened to the ‘fear’ thoughts all my life but no more! I am learning the truth of what God says about me, about others and about situations and it, my friend, is a game changer.

The demonic realm can only affect you
if you agree with the lies that it is telling.

Secondly, when you begin receiving the revelation that God really does love you with an everlasting, intimate and passionate love, you are no longer focused on the lies that are coming at you. You are focused on the One who loves you ferociously and you are intent on hearing what He has to say.

There is nothing greater than beginning to receive the intense love that the Creator of the universe has for you – uniquely and beautifully you!

Ask Him to reveal this to you and make a firm decision to receive it – whether you feel like you deserve it or not. Does your child deserve your love? Yes, because they are your child. You are Father God’s child and you are deserving of His love. He created you to be intentionally and lavishly loved by Him. He’s offering it so why not take it?

If
Psalm 103:3 says that God heals ALL your diseases, if Matthew 6:10 says you are commissioned to bring Heaven to earth (which is our greatest commission), and Philippians 4:19 says that God will supply ALL YOUR NEEDS, then why don’t we stand and fight for these things together!

A 3 stranded cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12) – you, me, and God.

Whose with me?
