There Is ALWAYS More …..

Do you ever find yourself thinking, “Is there more to life than this or is this it?”

“Were the people in the first century the only ones who experienced miracles or can I see them today?”

“Can I physically see and feel the tangible presence of God in my lifetime?”

I am here to tell you …….

……. there is always more!

I have been asking myself these same questions for the past couple of years. As I approach the big 5.0, I look at my life and wonder if I can have all that Jesus died to give me – NOW. I wonder ….

Maybe you have had the same experience in the passing years.

In my pondering I have discovered 2 things:

1: I can sit back all melancholy, have a pity party by myself, help everyone around me to be miserable too, binge on chocolate and Netflix movies and gripe about how hard and boring this Christian life is. In other words, be a big Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh’s mopey friend.

OR

2: I can wonder and dream big about the years I have left, go after the ‘more’ that God has waiting for me in my life and share that with as many people as I can.

I love Bill Johnson’s quote:

“You go where God is.”

 

Now, of course, God is everywhere but if you want more of God’s power, you go where He is moving in power. If you want to see more healings, you go where the healings are occurring. If you want transformation, you go where God is transforming.

This is not hard in today’s world with so many modes of transport and of course, the internet.

Think about it. If you want to improve your gifts whether it be speaking, playing an instrument, baking, etc, you would go to people who do it better than you to learn how to improve and get a new perspective on what you want to do.

So, what is the more?

Closer relationships
A greater ability to bless others
To pray and see miracles happen
To see what’s going on in the spirit realm
To hear God’s voice more clearly
Have a deeper and more personal relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit

Ultimately ……

Bringing Heaven to earth!

Have a think, for more than a few minutes, and discover what your heart is longing for at this very moment.

More of God. What does that look like?

I have never thought it a good idea to get all of our Biblical teaching from only one source, eg. Church on a Sunday or your favourite preacher online. This presents an extremely narrow view of what is going on in the world. Of course you need to be wise and check that the teaching does indeed match up with the Bible but in saying that, may I encourage you not to click away, close the book or switch off when something is happening that might be foreign to you.

I remember the first time I saw people falling down ‘under the power of God’. I stubbornly sat in my seat and thought, well if that really is of God, He can knock me out in my seat. Of course, God can read my thoughts so then He told me to get out of my seat and go out the front. I resisted as I thought this was my own head taunting me. The thought kept getting stronger and stronger. I finally obeyed. I was prayed for and the preacher put his hand on my head. I thought, “OK, so he is going to push me down.” Uh nope. When his hand was on my head, I stood standing. He moved to the next person and suddenly I was on the floor. I can’t tell you how, I just was. I was there for 2 hours with no sense of time, feeling incredibly peaceful.

I never again judged this phenomenon.

I am also discovering that healings are also a very foreign concept to a lot of Believers. The more I talk about praying for and seeing miraculous healings, either from answers to my own prayers or seeing miracles online, the more questions I receive about it all.

Whatever is in Heaven, you can have now.

There is more!

There is NO sickness in Heaven, so there can be NO sickness on earth.

There is a whole world out there of miraculous healings of anything from a headache to cancer, provision of anything you need, instantaneous travel from one country to another (that one freaks you out doesn’t it, but it’s true), instantaneous weight loss, creative miracles of new heart, lungs, kidneys, ears, eyes, etc.

All of this and more is available to YOU!

After all, God made your body in the first place. Don’t you think He could give you a new part if you needed it? Your very own personal, brand new organ transplant. How fantastic!

Miracles, miracles and more miracles.

We were looking for a bigger house and God showed me a picture of the house that He had for us. 2 years later, I was pregnant with our 4th child and there was definitely no more room where we were living. One day we drove to a friend’s house and my husband said, “There’s the house.” I looked out the window and there it was. We had been searching for the house for the previous 2 years and couldn’t find it – because it hadn’t been built yet. We moved into a brand new house that we could rent and we have been there for 13.5 years, in Sydney, which is miraculous in itself.

When our youngest child was 4 years old, she was struggling to pronounce all of her words properly so we would attend weekly Speech Therapy sessions. I had already been down this track a few times before and I simply didn’t want to do it anymore. The night before our next session, I cried out to God and asked Him to heal her mouth so that she could articulate her words correctly. The next day we went to her session. The Speech Therapist came to me and said, “I don’t know how this happened but she can say all of her words correctly.” Yay Jesus! I was then able to share how I had prayed and that she had indeed witnessed a miracle.

In the coming month, the Lord has organised for me the fulfilment of a 16 year dream. He has provided more than enough for this to happen. I’ll share more details later. Needless to say, I AM SO EXCITED!

THERE IS MORE, WAY MORE!

Don’t settle for less. There is way more to be had. You only get one chance at life. Make it count. Take ALL that is yours ….. NOW!!

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead ^[ain our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,“

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”

What part of God do you want more of today?

His love, His power, His grace, His favour, His provision, His voice, His comfort, His hope.

Now all you have to do is ask Him for it and watch what happens.
